IAF IL-76 Carry AID to Kyrgyzstan By Abhay Singh Thapa
Indian Air Force IL-76 with a crew of 18 members flew for Kyrgyzstan on 2nd June. It was carrying humanitarian aid for Osh city which was recently in news because of ethnic violence. At least 50 people were killed and more than 600 were wounded. 25 tonnes of aid was given which mainly consisted of tents, food packets and medicine. As per Indian Air Force the government is going to give 1million $ of aid and another plane will be leaving for Kyrgyzstan on 6th July.
